- End-to-End Encryption:
All sensitive interactions (logins, transactions, profile updates) are protected using industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS). - Secure Login Options:
- Google Sign-In: Leverages Google’s secure authentication protocol without storing your password.
- Email & Password: Passwords are hashed and encrypted before storage — we never store plain-text passwords.
- OTP Verification: Sensitive actions (e.g., password reset) require One-Time Passwords sent to your registered email for verification.
- Session Protection:
Automatic session expiration and background security checks help prevent unauthorized use on shared devices.
✅ You remain in control of your login credentials and can always update your password through the app’s secure settings if registered via email.
Personal Data Protection
- All personal information (including name, email, contact details, and profile data) is securely stored and not shared with any third-party vendors or services without your consent.
- Data collected is used solely to personalize your experience and provide app functionality (e.g., bookings, store management, GPS services).
User Best Practices
- Do not share your password with anyone.
- Log out from shared devices after each session.
- Use a strong password (8+ characters, with symbols and numbers).
- Keep your app updated to benefit from the latest security enhancements.
Data Privacy & Control
Your personal data is only used to deliver and personalize your in-app experience. We never sell or misuse your information.
- What We Collect:
Name, email, profile data, GPS location (if permitted), store data (if applicable), and content you voluntarily upload or interact with. - Why We Collect It:
- To customize your social feed, news, and search results
- To enable coach bookings, store management, and course tracking
- To offer customer support and maintain a secure environment
- What We Never Do:

- You control what is public on your store if you are a vendor.

Payment & Store Security
If you’re using the store management or Stripe integration, your financial transactions are managed through secure payment gateways. GolfGuiders never stores your credit card or bank details directly.
- PCI Compliance: Stripe, our payment partner, is certified to the highest industry standards
- Encrypted Transactions: All payments and payouts are securely processed
- Billing History: All invoices, earnings, and payouts are accessible to store owners within the app — securely and transparently

- Use a strong password (mix of letters, numbers, and symbols)
- Never share your credentials with anyone
- Log out on public/shared devices
- Enable device-level security (PIN, Face ID, biometrics)
