What is Golf Buddy?
Golf Buddy allows users to create dedicated posts inviting others to join them on specific dates at selected golf courses. These posts appear in the social feed and the dedicated Golf Buddy section, enabling easy discovery and participation.
How to Access
- Sidebar Menu: Select Golf Buddy to access your created and joined posts.
- Feeds/Circle: Golf Buddy posts also appear in the main feed with a Join button.
How It Works
- Creating Posts:
Create a personalized Golf Buddy post with all necessary details. - Joining Posts:
When users see a Golf Buddy post, they can tap the Join button to send a request to the post owner. - Managing Requests:
Post owners receive a notification when someone joins and can manage these requests through the View Buddies option on their post
- Notifications:
Both the requester and the post owner are notified upon acceptance or decline. - View Buddies:
Anyone can tap the three dots (⋮) on a post and select View Buddies to see who has already joined.
Tabs
- Today: Shows all your posts (created or joined) that are scheduled for today.
- Upcoming: Lists all future posts (created or joined) based on the selected date range.
